Yes!  Please!  When you exfoliate you increase blood circulation and the lymphatic system which in turn encourages new skin cells, breaks down fatty tissues and drains toxins from the skin.  Be sure to use an exfoliate that is oil-free, like The Gold Haus's All Natural Sugar Scrub. You can purchase it from Jenna in person.

Moisturize regularly and stay hydrated in the days leading up to and following your spray tan.  Consider using a moisturizer designed specifically to prolong the life of your tan, such as The Gold Haus Tan Extender. Purchase from Jenna. Also, be sure to pat your skin dry after a shower (don't rub!)

Yes!  Spray tanning is the healthiest way to get the color and glow you are looking for.  If you haven't spray tanned with us before, we suggest that you do a test tan at least two weeks prior to your important event.  This way we can make adjustments if the color is too light or too dark.  Schedule your next tan 1-3 days before the big day.

Your makeup will last all day and night (yes, even if you are the first one to go at 8 am).  The traditional foundation will last at least 12 hours, and the airbrush will last up to 20 hours.  We have some brides who wear their makeup to brunch the next day.  I had a bridesmaid who had a bottle of champagne explode in her face in the limo and she still looked great at the wedding. You will likely have to touch up your lips throughout the event and depending on your skin type, you may want to carry blot paper or blotting powder to soak up oil.

Dihydroxyaceton (DHA) is made from raw sugar cane and FDA approved for cosmetic use. When DHA is combined with the amino acids in your skin, it reacts by giving your skin a tan appearance. Allergic reactions are rare, but consult with your physician before your appointment should you have any concerns.

The solutions we use are unscented and have an extremely light scent.  You may be able to detect it ever so slightly on your skin, but it won't be bothersome compared to other sunless products you may have used.  You can also customize your tan with Pineapple/Coconut Tropics scent or Orange Ginger scent.

You can undress to your comfort level, we are professional.  Male clients must wear underwear.  A disposable hair cap and "sticky feet" will be provided for you. Bring loose-fitting dark clothing to wear home or purchase The Gold Haus dress from Jenna. It is a luxurious cover-up that comes in black or gold.

You can come to us, or we can come to you! Most of our clients want to be tanned in the convenience of their home. We do travel to hotels too.

That depends on what solution you choose.  If you choose the Original Solution or the Icon Reserve, you will want to wait 8-12 hours to shower.  If you choose the Ultra solution you will want to shower 1-4 hours after your spray tan.  I hour for light color, 2 hours for medium color, 3 hours for medium-dark color, 4 hours for dark color.

About 7-10 days depending on your after-care.  Using a tan extender that contains a small amount of DHA such as The Gold Haus Tan Extender and a body wash designed to prolong the life of your tan such as The Gold Haus Sjolie Body Wash will extend the life of your tan, and keep it even and rich. You can purchase all products online or through Jenna.

or Pineapple Tropics.  Add a skin perfector: Lustrous Bronzing- add a hint of color and "shimmer" to your service or  
Opalescent Shimmer- produces a "glowing" effect, subtle shimmer-great for bridal parties!  Condition your skin: Smoothing and Toning- uses caffeine and silicia to tone and tighten the skin and attack cellulite. Rejuvenating Anti-Aging- utilizes pea extract to tighten wrinkles on the skin and rejuvenate skin texture and elasticity.
